Privacy policy

What I collect

Only what you type into the order form: your name, email, phone number if you give it, the date you need your order, roughly how many people, and whatever you tell me about flavors, colors and the design. If you call, text, email or message me on Instagram, I have whatever you send there.

What I use it for

To reply to you, work out a price, and bake and hand over your order. That is it. I do not sell your details, I do not rent them out, and I do not add you to a newsletter or a marketing list.

Who else handles it

• Deep Current. When you send the order form, it goes to Deep Current, the website dashboard run by my web designer, Deep Development & Design. It stores your request and emails it to me. They keep it for me and do not use it for anything of their own.
• Vercel. The company that hosts this website. Like any web host, its servers see your internet address when you load a page.
• Email and phone. If you email or text me, that goes through my own email and phone providers, the same as any message.

Visit counting

This site counts visits so I can see how many people look at it. The counter records which page was viewed, which website sent you here if there was one, and taps on things like my phone number or email. It does not set advertising cookies and it does not know who you are. Daily visitor counts are worked out from a scrambled code that resets every midnight. It may keep one random number in your browser so a repeat visit can be linked to an order request you send later; that number says nothing about you. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted and nothing is stored.

Cookies and outside services

There are no advertising or social media trackers on this site. The fonts are served from this website itself, not from Google. The Instagram links are plain links: nothing from Instagram loads until you click one, and then Instagram's own privacy policy applies.

Deposits and cancellations

Everything is made to order, so there is no one rule for every order. Deposits and cancellation terms are agreed with you when I confirm your order.

How long I keep it

I keep your order details for as long as I need them to bake your order and answer questions about it afterward. Ask me and I will delete them.

Your choices

You can ask me what I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Call or text (937) 823-2983 or email knippbakery@gmail.com and I will sort it out.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect details from them. If a child has sent me something, tell me and I will delete it.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
